I have always felt a way out of anything, but many times all the things get bundled up in my mind. I wanted to talk to someone who can listen to all the things which my mind have. SCS counsellors helped me with that. I felt very relaxed and poised after those sessions.

It was okayish I guess. I talked to some people before seeking them. So letting it out or venting was not the reason I went to them. I wanted a solution, they listened very carefully. But their advice wasn't much helpful.

In my case, i was basically overthinking each and everything , most probably because it was lockdown and everything online , i also had a family which surely loves but they are too overthinking at most times, and i was feeling why was it happening to me, i was feeling that it was just happening to me and i have some problem. I was over using WhatsApp to communicate with people than call , which was making it more overwhelming. When i told this to my counsellor, she told me ways to adopt to come out of that like playing games with family and drawing, yes they were good ways , but i couldn't open up about what was happening nor it didn't put my fear away that it was only happening to me.

My experience was very smooth. The counselor was willing to hear me patiently and understand my situation in depth. It was more like I was talking to a friend. Once the session was over, she kept in touch with me for some days in whatsapp and call till I was stabilized.

I was in a terrible state all through the last semester, sometimes even unable to get through my day. I reached out to SCS and it helped me a lot in getting back on track and manage my anxiety. It's great for immediate assistance and helps me get back on track with my life, but I haven't personally been able to connect to my therapist - in terms of solving the root causes that cause my lows.

It was nice. Just that they were too polite for me to open up completely. Nonetheless, talking to them did help me in the short term but I just relapsed.
